Tumbling

We went to Market Market last June 25, 2011… I had to watch the fund raising concert for my PE requirement… I’m a fan of great dancers and my expectation for this concert was kinda high… Maybe that’s why I ended up disappointed… I thought since The Crew was performing, the other performers are also that good… But I was so d*mn wrong! x( When we arrived there, the KIDS were all “conyo”… It’s kinda irritating or maybe i’m just not used to that environment… Or maybe they really were irritating… :D :)) Some of them were dancing like there in a club and some are just plain show off… They girls were always “He’s wearin’ this, he’s wearin that… Oh my gosh he’s… ” and I was like “:|” … Grrrr… No one was in charge of the line at the entrance… We don’t know if there really was a line… And it was unfair since these kids were obviously from the same school and they reserved all the seats for their late friends… Also, number of chairs != number of tickets sold == standing people X( Boo!! I shouldn’t have bought the tickets!! Grrr… I paid for 2 tickets worth 150pesos each to stand within these small barriers separating those who paid and those who did not… BUT, the people who did not pay could still watch for FREE! And they did not need to suffer the “conyo”-ness of those kids!! Which was waaaaaay better than what we had to endure for 2 hours!! Pft! Anyway, we are required to write a reaction paper about it, and i’m not sure what to write since I did not enjoy the show… The performers were lousy… They all used the same song!! Imagine!! Around 14 groups used the same songs, the same twist, the same “joke” in their routines!! The male performers only made “papogi” feeling like their hot when they’re not! The girls were all over the stage… In every group, there was always someone who did not know the steps… And the crowd goes “Woah” every time someone tumbles over… As if what they’re doing was life threatening or what… :| A guys flips over == the crowd goes “woah”?!! WTH??!! I was like, “That’s it???!” :| Pffffft… I’m starting to think that i’m too old for this kind of thing and that’s why I did not enjoy the concert… Or maybe they were just crap… Haha! Just kiddin’! :))) Anyhow, I have to write a reaction paper… I’m still undecided if i’m gonna write what I really think or do I have to pretend as if it was a great show… Sheesh… It’s a good thing I do not have to pass the paper anytime soon… I could still think about it… But really, I was so excited about  this concert… I’ve always been excited in watching dance concerts… But this one really made a bad mark… :( Not worth it… :|
